Discovering the wonder that is hand crafted beer at a farm in Australia called Hardywood Park with the Crawford family and childhood friend Patrick Murtaugh in 2001. After that, opening the doors to our brewery 10 years later and winning our first World Beer Cup medal in 2012.

When Food Truck Court first exploded into the popular night it has become, I remember sitting around with the Hardywood crew, eating Pizza Tonight, watching the crowd, and just being amazed and happy at how far we had come in such a short period of time. A lot of smiles and laughter that night.

I've played a live metal concert here at the brewery and not only was that event itself amazing, but everyone who worked that night was amazing. It's cool to work with people that seek different, unique and diverse styles of music. And that goes hand in hand with all the styles of beer they've created.

Tasting the cask of what would become Christmas Morning at Station 2. The reactions, the nose on that beer, the spitballing of ideas, the amazement, that feeling of excitement that we were sharing something that was really special, and something that needed to be expressed in a larger way. It was a really fun night.
My first event with Hardywood was Savor in DC in 2014. It was thrilling to represent our brewery at an event alongside so many incredible breweries from al over the country.
