Stout brewed with local oysters
For Father’s Day, Hardywood presents an Oyster Stout. We brewed this beer using authentic Rappahannock River Oysters brought to us by Rappahannock Oyster Company. That’s right, we boiled up a bushel of oysters in our kettle to create a slight meaty and briny aroma that is followed by the tasty chocolate and roasted malts. This beer has an incredibly silky mouth feel that finished out with a malty sweetness to balance the hop bitterness. Belly up dad’s, your favorite things are combine, oysters and beer.
