Although Maple Mars (Los Angeles) & The High Frequencies (Richmond,VA.) currently reside on opposite coasts, that wasn’t always the case. Both bands are long time veterans of the much lauded L.A. power pop scene.

The High Frequencies is the latest endeavor by one of the left coasts most prolific songwriters, Lisa Mychols, and rounded out by newly reunited hometown maestros The Waking Hours.

Maple Mars is currently pounding the pavement behind their new release “Someone’s Got to Listen” (Big Stir records). Led by front man Rick Hromadka, this quartet has faithfully delivered the power pop gospel for the last 20 plus years with U.S. and European tours. A must!
