Science Pub RVA: Toxic Air in Urban Veggie Gardens

Beer and science are in the air…but what else?!

Get the dirt on the relationship between pollutants, plants and the produce grown in urban environments from Virginia Union University‘s Ahkinyala Cobb-Abdullah, PhD.

Plus, Duron Chavis talks about increasing access to quality seedlings, the benefits of a public greenspace and Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden‘s greenhouse collaboration with VUU.

No registration needed. A mix of theater-style and table-side seating will be available on a first-come basis.
