TAPROOM QUESTIONS

  • Yes! Show your military ID for 10% off.

  • Yes! Hardywood makes our house West Creek Cider, as well as a wine partnership with Barboursville Winery offering a House Red and House White. We also produce Suncrush, a gluten-reduced beer offering.

While West Creek Cider is made without gluten, it is made in a facility that produces gluten. Virginia ABC law prohibits guests from bringing any of the above options onto any Hardywood property.

Our downtown location offers cocktails as well!

  • We offer locally-sourced kombucha and sodas for purchase in our taprooms. Keep your eyes peeled for Francie’s Lemonade, a seasonal house-made lemonade available on tap during the warmer months as well as our house made Ginger Beer!

  • Any items purchased in our taproom, except food or beer, may be exchanged or returned at any time provided that the items are in new condition. For a full refund of the purchase price, a receipt must be provided at the time of return. All items returned in new condition without a receipt are eligible for exchange only.

  • e often have barrels for sale, but please contact us to ensure we have some in stock before heading to a taproom. Barrels are available out of the West Creek taproom.

If you are interested, send us an email to check availability and schedule a pickup time at our Hardywood West Creek location during our normal taproom hours.

  • Yes, all Hardywood taproom locations are family-friendly and open to all ages. Footwear is required for Hardywood guests of all ages.

Each Hardywood taproom is designed with a focus on presenting an inviting, enjoyable atmosphere for our adult guests, however, we invite the whole family to join us. We ask parents/guardians to leave toys/games with small parts at home, and to assist us in ensuring that children are behaving in a manner that does not disrupt the experience for our adult guests. Children need to be supervised and with an adult at all times.

  • Our production/taproom locations are designed to brew and serve delicious craft beer. Our Richmond location operates the Hardywood Pizza Kitchen Tuesday through Sunday. We put a lot of energy into making sure food trucks are scheduled in West Creek and/or light snacks are available in both taprooms. Guests are permitted to bring light snacks and order food for delivery at our West Creek location. Outside food is prohibited at our Richmond location. Traditional catering/platters are not permitted in public taproom areas (see Private Events). Hardywood does not provide plates, napkins, utensils, or serve-ware.

  • We schedule at least one food truck to serve during all taprooms hours at our West Creek taprooms. Please note the following:

    • Food trucks are independently-owned businesses that are not affiliated with Hardywood. Please contact the food trucks directly with questions, comments and feedback.

    • Food trucks are subject to change, cancellation or to run out of menu items with no notice.

If you are a food truck owner who would like to join our vendor list, or if you are a guest with specific questions about food options in our taprooms, please email info@hardywood.com.

We post food truck and music information for each location on our main Facebook page daily. Again, please note that the trucks are subject to change at a moment’s notice and might differ from the information provided online.

The Hardywood Pizza Kitchen is open in Richmond Wednesday through Sunday.

  • Hardywood does not permit dogs in any of our indoor taprooms, with the exception of registered service dogs.
