1996 is a collection of Richmond musicians dedicated to playing alternative rock songs from the year 1996. So many of these mid-90's alt-rock bands have inspired musicians for years thus some of our city's finest are gathering to pay homage to the music that sparked that inspiration in the first place. Beck, Alanis, Weezer, Cake, No Doubt, and Sheryl Crow are just a few of the bands that wind up in the 1996 catalog. All played at a pumping volume filled with nothing but love.
