Celebrate Diwali with the Prabir Trio and many special guests at this India-inspired rock and Roll takeover of Hardywood West Creek!**

Get ready to light up your Diwali celebrations with an electrifying musical experience featuring the Prabir Trio! Known as the go-to for India-inspired rock and roll, the trio is set to dazzle audiences across Virginia from November 9th to 11th, accompanied by the talented artists Nayan and Sravani Kameswari. Live art will be happening as Akash Chatrajee brings his live illustration talents to the event. DJ Carl will also be spinning Bollywood tunes between and after bands. This promises to be a night of musical magic, with each artist bringing their unique flair to the stage.

At dusk, our night begins on the West Creek Lawn with Casper 👻 starting at dusk followed by The Blair Witch Project (Rated R) 🧙‍♀️. From 7 to 8 pm, join us inside where Emily McArthur will be speaking on the true story of “Sharing true stories of life and death in the Gayton coal mines and ghostly encounters that still remain,” but please note that this is recommended for ages 16+ due to sensitive topics and graphic content.

Join us and our friends, the James River Association, to kick off James River Week! We'll be toasting a Great Return to the Atlantic Sturgeon and our years-long partnership with the JRA. The JRA will be on-site to answer all of your James River questions and we'll have live music to celebrate.

This week is the culmination of many like-minded groups coming together to offer recreational, environmental, and educational activities in, on and around the James River. James River Week not only encourages participants to enjoy the James’ many benefits, but also brings awareness to the critical issues it faces.
